We want you to love what you choose at Ages & Moments. This policy explains your rights when ordering from agesandmoments.com. It does not limit any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Your 14-day right to withdraw
If you are an EU consumer purchasing online, you normally have 14 days after you (or a person designated by you, other than the carrier) receive your order to withdraw without giving a reason. If items from one order arrive separately, the period normally starts after receipt of the last item. You can tell us by emailing info@agesandmoments.com before the deadline. You may use the withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.
To start a return, email info@agesandmoments.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. We will reply with the appropriate return address and practical shipping instructions. You do not need our approval to exercise your statutory withdrawal right, and using our model form is optional. Your withdrawal is valid if you notify us within the legal withdrawal period, even if you are still waiting for our reply. We will provide return instructions promptly so that you can send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. Our registered office is our legal contact address and is not necessarily the address handling returned parcels.
Condition of returned products
You may handle and inspect the goods as you would in a physical shop. You may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the products’ nature, characteristics and functioning. A product does not automatically lose its statutory return rights because its outer packaging was opened. Natural variations in mineral colour, pattern and shape may occur, but the product must still conform to its description.
Return shipping costs
For a change-of-mind withdrawal, you normally pay the direct cost of sending the goods back unless we agree otherwise. If we supplied a wrong, faulty or non-conforming item, contact us so we can arrange an appropriate remedy without charging you costs that the law requires us to bear.
Refunds
When you validly withdraw, we reimburse payments received for the goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option (if charged). Additional costs of an express or more expensive delivery method you chose need not be reimbursed. We will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice; we may wait until we receive the goods or you provide evidence of posting them, whichever is earlier. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and will not impose a refund fee.
Exceptions
The statutory withdrawal right does not apply in certain legally defined cases, such as clearly personalised or made-to-order goods, or sealed goods that are genuinely unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken. Exceptions apply only where the legal requirements are met and do not remove your rights if the goods are faulty. Discounted or sale items are not excluded merely because they were on sale.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your item is faulty, damaged in transit or different from what was agreed, contact info@agesandmoments.com with your order number and a description (photos are helpful but not always required). EU consumers generally benefit from a minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods, subject to applicable law. Appropriate remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. This statutory protection is separate from the 14-day withdrawal period.
